Enjoy
a round of golf at the best golf course in Aroostook County.
It's eighteen holes of beauty, cut into the side of Mars Hill
Mountain. Hole number six on the new nine is the second highest
par 3 in the country.

Big
Rock Alpine Skiway
Alpine skiing,
once a part of life for many Aroostook County families, has
declined in popularity over the years due to the increased
costs of an evolving ski industry. It became difficult for
the average family to "hit the slopes" for a day
or weekend, and consequently people turned to other activities.
Bigrock and the Maine Winter Sports Center have taken aim
at bringing those families back by offering improved facilities
and state of the art equipment at reduced family-friendly
prices. The goal is to once again make skiing an outdoor activity
for the whole family to enjoy, as well as restore its place
as part of the County's heritage. In addition to alpine skiing,
cross country skiing is offered on a first class trail. Come
and see what a world-class facility we have.
Nordic
Heritage Ski Center
Nordic Heritage
Ski Center is located in Presque Isle, ME and is a Cross Country
Biathlon Training Center. It is considered a world-class facility
and was awarded the 2006 Biathlon Junior World Championship.
This facility is open to the public.

Mountain Ski Center
10th
Mountain Ski Center is located in Fort Kent, Maine and has
been referred to as one of the top nordic facilities by an
international licensing delegation. The center has already
hosted 2 Senior National Biathlon Championships, 2 NorAm Championships
and 3 Junior National Championships and the 2004 Biathlon
World Cup.
They have also hosted the Peoples Festival in January 2003.

Snowmobiling
Northern
Maine is famous for its snowmobiling and attracts people from
all over the country. Mars Hill is part of the Interconnecting
Trail System (ITS) with great access to smooth trail riding.
Day trips to the Canadian border and across the crown of Maine
are easily accomplished.

Aroostook Community Ski Club
The
Mars Hill Ski Club has developed a well-groomed cross country
trail that leads to Mars Hill Mountain. This trail can be
accessed easily from the backyard of The Graham House Bed
& Breakfast.

Hunting
& Fishing Trips
Aroostook
County offers some of the best game hunting in the country
with some of the best guides. Sherwin Kelly, Maine guide,
offers you an opportunity to hunt Bear, Deer, and Moose. He
also gives you a chance to catch a prize trout on one of his
fishing trips.
